James "Jim" F. Lenz

Lenz, James “Jim” F., 62, Cresson, went home to be with the Lord July 26, 2020 after a brief illness at UPMC Altoona. Born December 5, 1957, Altoona, son of the late Robert P. and Dolores A. (Eckenrode) Lenz. Survived by his wife, Sally A. (Spahr), whom he married on April 8, 1983; daughter, Colby Wilk and husband Marc; newborn granddaughter, Ila Grace Wilk, all of Pittsburgh; brothers, Gary Lenz and wife Lisa, Harrisburg; Dale Lenz and wife Pam, Maryland; Mike Lenz, West Virginia; and Paul Lenz and wife, Saundra, Loretto; aunt, Jeanne Eckenrode; uncle, Bill Lenz; and numerous nieces and nephews. Jim was a graduate from Penn Cambria High School and was employed by the Penn Cambria School District. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and kayaking. Jim will be truly missed by all who knew him. At his request, there will by no viewing. A private memorial Mass will be celebrated at the convenience of the family at St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Fr. Leo Arnone, celebrant. Interment St. Michael Cemetery, Loretto. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the UPMC Liver Cancer Research Fund, Forbes Tower, Suite 8084, 3600 Forbes Ave. at Meyran Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15213.
