Zoldos, Robin W. “Rob”, 69, Cresson, formerly of Phoenix, AZ, passed away at his home on July 25, 2019 surrounded by his family after a brief illness. Born September 11, 1949, Philadelphia, son of Jerome A. and Betty (Hoop) Zoldos. Preceded in death by his mother and his best friend, Barry Kovach. Survived by his father; wife of 44 years, Joyce E. (Bobish); daughters, Jocelyn and Alexandra Zoldos, all of Cresson; sisters, Marilee Roney, Ligonier; Wendy Vagnoni, King of Prussia; brother, Jerry Zoldos, Dallastown; godsons, Kyle Kovach, Germany; Barrett Wolf, Tent Island, MD; Nathan McBride, Scottsdale, AZ; and Jared Zoldos, Hanover; and special family friend, Marian Kovach, Philipsburg. Rob worked in the magazine, book and periodical distribution industry where he held executive management positions. He graduated from Penn State University in 1971 with a B.A. and was a member of the Phi Kappa Psi Fraternity, where he made many life-long friends. In his later years he served at the local senior center. Rob was an avid Penn State fan, a life-long golfer and enjoyed hiking. Rob was deeply loved by his friends and family. A graveside service will be held on Monday, August 26 at 1:30 p.m. at St. John the Baptist Byzantine Catholic Cemetery, Hopwood, PA.
