Sollers, Ardeth M. (Hill), 91, Huntingdon, went home to be with the Lord February 14, 2023, at UPMC Altoona. Born November 21, 1931, Newton Hamilton daughter of the late Fern and Alma (Hill) Woodward, and late reared parents, Towanda and Bertha Hill. Preceded in death by loving husband, John W. Sollers, who passed in November of 2022; stepdaughter, Betty Ann Moyer; son in law, Joe Schueck; siblings, Beverly Beaston and Fern Woodward. Survived by children, Donna Schueck; Donald Blair and wife, Cheryl; stepdaughter, Rose Marie Mosley; grandchildren, Jonathon Parks; Lucas Blair and wife, Danielle; Zachary Blair and wife, Shelly; Thaddeus Blair and companion, Tori; Alex Mosley; Scott Mosley; six great grandchildren; siblings, Sondra Redmond; Jim Woodward; and several nieces, and nephews. Ardeth graduated from Mount Union area High School. After graduation she was employed at the Dalco Sewing Factory in Mount Union. After her full-time employment had ended, she became famous for her pies that she would sell off her front porch, giving her the nickname, “Pie Lady”. Ardeth was a member of the Newton Hamilton United Methodist Church as well as the 12th street Methodist Church in Huntingdon. She was a member of the Harley Davidson Full Dress Association, hosted three Harley Davidson rallies in Huntingdon, and enjoyed spending time with her husband touring each state on their Harley Davidson. Ardeth was known for hosting her group of ladies from the Newton Hamilton Church. Family and Friends will be received on Tuesday, February 21, 2023, from 10a.m. until time of service at 1 p.m., at the funeral home, Pastor Patricia Shope, officiant. Interment to follow at the Newton Hamilton Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Heath-Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 61 E.
