Goss, Arlene Mae, 97, formally of Hesston and most recently of Orbisonia, passed away peacefully on December 23, 2023, surrounded by her family at Embassy at Woodland Park. Born September 8, 1926, Pogue, daughter of the late John and Myrtle (Jaka) Cohenour. Preceded in death by her husband, Clair H. Goss whom she married in Huntingdon County in June of 1950. Also preceded in death by her son, Lee J. Goss, Hesston; and a sister, Marian “Sis” Allison. Survived by children, Brad Goss and wife, Cathy, Three Springs; Judy Goss and Valerie Goss, both of Huntingdon; grandchildren, Brandye Armstrong and husband Perry, Three Springs; Kelly Thomas and husband Mike, Three Springs; Brittany Krietz and husband Adam, Greencastle; Derek Goss and wife Kristie, Boiling Springs; Megan Mae Stoner and husband Justin, PA Furnace; Jared Goss and wife Allison, Warriors Mark; great grandchildren, Alexis Secrest, Hope Armstrong, Zane Armstrong, Vance Armstrong, Elayna Thomas, Caylen Thomas, Brynlee Thomas, Caroline and Penelope Goss, Lucas and Khloe Stoner, Olivia and Annabelle Goss; great great grandchildren, Reagan and Korbyn Secrest; nephew, Butch Goss and wife Sue, Huntingdon; niece, Cathy Beaver, Marklesburg; Teresa Shammas, Florida; daughter-in-law, Debra Goss; and sister-in-law and great friend, Judy Goss, Cocoa Beach Florida. Arlene loved to travel. She enjoyed reminiscing about her childhood and talking about her amazing grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren. She will be missed by many. At the request of Arlene there will be no public services. Arrangements have been entrusted to Heath-Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 61 E.
