Walker, Betty “Betsy” Melinda (Keiser), 68, Mapleton, passed away Saturday August 24, 2024, at Embassy of Huntingdon Park. Born August 9, 1956, at home on Water Street in Mount Union, daughter of the late Ralph and Betty (Flagle) Keiser. Survived by children, Pam Somers and husband, Mark; Scott Walker and wife, April; Shawn Walker and ex-wife, Chass; Coty Phachansiri; Nicci Mangle and husband, Tim; MhayLhaya Hoffmaster and husband, Eric; grandchildren, Shayla and husband, David; Gavrielle and husband, Hunter; Tyler, Jordan, Alexis, Zander, Kai, Landon, Kamryn, Rowen, Carter, Alaric, Brinley, Lucian and Ryett; great grandchildren, Hazel, Norah, Phoebe, and Stetson; siblings, Tom Keiser, Hilda Shoop, Caroline Borror, Cathy Lemin, Cindy Walker, Joe Keiser, and Sharon Keiser. Preceded in the death by former husband, Stanley Walker; daughter, Tina Walker; and siblings, Ralf Keiser, Donna Uttley, Patricia Peck and Robert Keiser. Betsy worked as a CNA while living out of state and for a short period after moving back to Pennsylvania. She was also employed at Empire Kosher and Warnaco. She was a social member of Mapleton American Legion Post 322, where she enjoyed spending time with her close friends and never turned down an after-cash party dance where she could be found on the dance floor. She was a proud member of the unofficial B.O.B. Club. Betsy liked reading all things medieval fantasy and watching shows alike. Family and friends will be received on Thursday August 29, 2024, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made directly to the funeral home. Arrangements have been entrusted to Heath-Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 61 E.
