Brenda J. Hamman

Hamman, Brenda J., 77, Three Springs, passed away Thursday November 3, 2022, at Penn Highlands Huntingdon. Born September 24, 1945, Tyrone, daughter of the late Leonard R. and Willie P. (Hall) Light. Preceded in death by her husband, Fred D. Hamman; and sister, Nancy Crosson. Survived by her son, Clarence Slates, Three Springs; Leonard Slates and wife, Rosalie, Three Springs; daughter, Tina Slates and companion, John Hockenberry, Three Springs; stepchildren, Gary Hamman and wife, Deb, Gettysburg; Jeff Hamman and wife, Gail, Three Springs; and Marsha Pederson and husband, Rick, Wisconsin; 11 grandchildren, and 13 great grandchildren; siblings, Ann Markel, West Virginia; Linda Krider, Warriors Mark; and Paul D. Light and wife, Deb, Duncannon. Brenda was employed as a seamstress for the Big Yank Garment Factory in Tyrone. Brenda was an avid gardener and enjoyed canning. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and her dog Mazzie. A private service will be held at the convenience of the family.
