Brian E. Walter, 65, of 890 Little Greenbriar Road, McVeytown, passed away Sunday February 2, 2025, at 5:32 p.m. at home surrounded by his family. Born October 13, 1959, Huntingdon, son of Charles and Reba (Foore) Walter, of Saltillo. Survived by his loving wife, Deborah K. (Peck) Walter, whom he married on December 22, 1992, in Mount Union. Also survived by his parents; 6 children, Zachary Walter; Bonnie Beaston and husband, Terry; Michelle Miles and husband, Ralph “Chuck”; Ivy Varner and companion, Frank; Travis Lane; Beau Lane and wife, Mitzi; 6 grandchildren, Erin, Emily, Alexander, Elizabeth, Caleb and Hayley; 5 great grandchildren, Harbor, Warren, Luella, Ryver and Elias; sister, Jennifer Willis and husband, Rick; and 2 nephews, Camden and Casey. Brian graduated from Southern Huntingdon County High School in 1977. He retired from Standard Steel, in Burnham, in May of 2024 after 35 years of employment. Brian enjoyed fishing, kayaking, going on trail wagon rides on the ridges and woods with his wife, and sitting in his garage. He was an avid sports fan. He always liked working on his cars. Most of all he loved spending time with his family and friends. At the request of Brian there will be no viewing or services. A private celebration of life will be held later at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Heath-Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 61 E.
