Albright, Carl R. Jr. “Rocky”, 71, Huntingdon, passed away Saturday August 24, 2024, at Embassy at Huntingdon Park. Born November 25, 1952, New Brighton, son of the late Carl R. Albright Sr. and Betty J. (Wallace) Albright. Survived by his loving wife, Barbara J. (Douglass) Albright; daughters, Carla J. Rhodes and husband, Kelly; and Nancy J. Querry; stepsons, Daniel C. Stegner and wife, Sadie; and Justin H. Stegner and wife, Christina; 6 grandchildren, Daniel C. Albright, Elliot Tomasiello, Jude Querry, Felix Querry, Scarlett Rhodes, and Finley Rhodes; 4 step grandchildren, Matthew Dejnozka, Andon Stegner, Alison Dejnozka, and Mya Stegner; and sisters, Nancy Smith and husband, Russell; and Frostie Fox and husband, Robbie; numerous nieces and nephews—and a special nephew, David Whitesel. Preceded in death by his son, Michael C. Albright, which was Mr. Albright’s greatest sorrow; and a sister, Sunnie Lower. Carl honorably served his country in the United States Army. Carl was known for his hard work ethic. He was a printing press operator who was trained at the Government Print Office. Carl worked at many printshops and was known as a troubleshooter. He retired from Jostens in State College. Carl was a military history buff. He enjoyed shooting firearms with his friends. He loved rooting for the Pittsburgh Steelers. Carl could be found most nights sitting on his porch socializing with neighbors or relaxing by a fire. Most of all he loved to spend time with his family and friends, especially his grandchildren. At the request of Carl there will be no formal services. Those who wish may make memorial contributions to the Shriners Hospital for Children, 1645 W 8th St, Erie, PA 16505.
