Carmen M. Torres Rivera

Carmen M. Torres Rivera, 88, Orbisonia, passed away Friday October 13, 2023. Born June 25, 1935, Aguas Buenas Puerto Rico, daughter of the late Pedro and Secundina (Torres) Rivera. Preceded in death by children, Efrain Irizarry and Milagros Irizarry Sneath; granddaughter, Angel Adkins; and siblings, Ignacia, Basilia, Louisa, Andres, Emiliano, Alberto, Jacinta and Felix. Survived by her son, Roque L. Robles and daughter, Joanne Pagan; 7 grandchildren, Roque Anthony Robles, Phillip Robles, Roque Robles, Vanessa Lopez, Guillermo “Tito” Olivieri; and Natalie Wallace; 17 great grandchildren, Alyssa, Jouis, Alex, Aiden, Aaron, Jaydon, Joshua, Eliana, Giuliana, Olivia, Maxx, Tristan, Taylor, Norah, Malachi, Blaine and Abby; and 1 great great grandchild, Milo; and sister, Aurelia Rivera. Carmen was a faithful member of St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church in Mount Union where she was also a member of the Catholic Daughters. Carmen truly loved the Lord and was a faithful servant of His. She enjoyed puzzles, playing cards, flowers and gardening. Most of all she loved spending time with her family—especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Family and friends will be received on Thursday October 19, 2023, from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home. A funeral mass will be held on Friday October 20, 2023, at 10 a.m., at St. Catherine of Siena Catholic Church, 203 W Market St, Mt Union, PA 17066.
