Lidonnice, Carol A., 75, Lilly, passed away on March 25, 2020 at home. Born August 6, 1944, Elizabeth City, NC, daughter of the late Dr. James B. and Mary (Sanderson) Leap. Preceded in death by her husband, Joseph R. Lidonnice. Survived by her daughter, Julie McDonald, Philadelphia, PA; son, John Lidonnice (Melissa), Columbus, OH; sister, Maribeth Mitchell, Dunedin, New Zealand; brother, Michael Leap (Ronna), Boca Raton, FL; proud and loving grandmother to Benjamin and Abigail McDonald; and Sarah and Andrew Lidonnice; and by her dedicated and constant companion, Lady, who never left her side. Carol held a BA in Health and Physical Education from Slippery Rock University. She taught at Forest Hills School District, leaving when she had children. Carol substituted for 9 years and ended her career teaching preschool for Head Start. Carol loved all water related activities. She was a synchronized swimmer in college and taught swimming lessons at the Portage pool. Carol enjoyed craft shows, yard sales, dinners out with friends, spending time with her grandchildren and of course walking with her beloved dog, Lady. Friends and family are invited to attend a memorial Mass Saturday, June 20, 2020 at 10 a.m., St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Cresson, Rev. Leo Arnone, celebrant. Private interment St. Joseph Cemetery, Beaverdale.
