Steel, Chauncey C., 37, Mount Union, passed away unexpectedly February 3, 2020 at his home. Born June 19, 1982, Huntingdon, son of Otis Cook, Sr. and Dawn Steel. Preceded in death by his father and grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Phillips. Survived by his mother; adopted mother, Joyce E. Phillips; siblings, Otis, Jr. and Greg, both of Lewistown; Patrick “Beanie”, Mount Union; John, Altoona; Patrice, SC; Shamus, Chambersburg; Julie, Pittsburgh; Jerret and Jollene, both of Mount Union; grandmother, Faye Steel; uncles, Rodney and Mark Steel. A memorial service will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contribution may be made directly to the funeral home to help the family defer expenses.
