Lewis, Corren (Trice), 75, Mount Union, passed away Wednesday October 2, 2024, at home surrounded by her family. Born September 4, 1949, Huntingdon, daughter of the late John Jefferson Jr. and Eula Mae (Grice) Trice. Survived by her loving companion, Wayne Perkins; daughter, Felicia Trice Richardson and husband, Tyron; 1 granddaughter, Rahmaea Lockley; siblings, Julia Mae Vaughn and husband, Robert; Janet Nabors and husband, Cornelius; Roger Joel Trice and wife, Jean; Shirley Simmons; and Ester Trice; and Godson, Robo Vaughn. Preceded in death by children, Maela Lewis and Ricardo Lewis Jr.; siblings, John, Allen, and Walter Trice; and a Godson, Steven Gitu. Mrs. Lewis belonged to the Mount Hope Missionary Baptist Church. Mrs. Lewis was a 1968 graduate of Mount Union Area High School. Mrs. Lewis honorably served in the Army Reserves. She retired from Penn State University as a Campus Loop driver and worked as an Avon Representative for many years. Mrs. Lewis was a patron of the Mount Union Step Team, member of PSU Human Relations Board, PSU Equality Board, local NAACP Chapter, and the Special Olympics Board. She was an avid Penn State Football and Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Most of all she loved to spend time with her family and friends. Family and friends will be received on Saturday October 12, 2024, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 12 noon, at the funeral home, Rev. Herman Burks, officiant. Interment to follow at Haven Rest Memorial Park. Arrangements have been entrusted to Heath-Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 61 E.
