Eugene Melvin White

White, Eugene Melvin, 84, Mount Union, passed away Saturday, February 8, 2025, surrounded by his family at home. Born July 24, 1940, son of the late Melvin M. and Edith K (Miller) White. Survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Suzanna Beth (Drake) White; daughter, Katrina N. Best; 2 granddaughters, Belen E. Best and Madie N. Best; and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by siblings, Monroe White, George White, Ellis White, Robert White, Gladys Kunkleman, Gertrude Gibson, and Emma Beecher. Eugene served in the United States Army. He was known to be a devoted husband, father, and pappy to his granddaughters. Eugene enjoyed fishing on Lake Raystown and spending time with friends and family.
