Glasgow, Flora Bell (Peters), 91, formerly of Newton Hamilton, passed away Thursday, August 26, 2021, at Embassy at Woodland Park, Orbisonia. Born October 10, 1929, daughter of the late William Elwood and Elizabeth Hannah (Beatty) Peters, Wayne Township. Preceded in death by loving husband, Carl J. Glasgow Sr. and son, Stephen Glasgow. Survived by daughter, Kathy Glasgow Panella and husband, Ben; and son, Carl Glasgow Jr. and wife, Shirley; 4 grandchildren, Dawn Glasgow Turner and husband, Rich; Stephanie Glasgow Herrera and husband, Matt; Jennifer Panella Atherton and husband, Scott and Bryan Glasgow; many great grandchildren and 1 great-great grandchild; and a special nephew, Bill Peters, Alexandria. Flora was a lifelong member of the Newton Hamilton United Methodist Church. She was a 1947 graduate of Mount Union High School. Flora was also a member of the Order of Eastern Star Mount Union Chapter #280. She worked for the Grief Sewing factory before becoming a house parent for the Milton Hershey School. Flora enjoyed going to the Atkinson Mills Senior Center with her dear friend Mable Foster. She was most happy when spending time with her family and friends. Family and friends will be received on Wednesday September 1, 2021, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 12 noon, at the funeral home, Pastor Brian Myfelt, officiant. Interment to follow at Newton Hamilton Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Heath-Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 61 E.
