SIBIS - Francis P. "Frank" "Old Timer," 77, Lilly, passed away May 17, 2015, at home. Born March 14, 1938, in Lilly, son of the late Frank and Rose (Cennanti) Sibis. Preceded in death by infant brother, David; and son-in-law, Paul Maloskey. Survived by loving wife of 58 years, Joan (Tremel), whom he married Dec. 1, 1956; children, Daniel Sibis (Karen), Darla Sibis, Francis Sibis (Nancy), Robert Sibis, Rebecca Maloskey (Paul) and Thomas Sibis; grandchildren, Danny Sibis, Christina Novella (Tim), Kayla Maloskey, Brandy Sibis, Tiffani Maloskey, Jessica Sibis, Katrina Sibis, Franky Sibis and Tabitha Sibis; great-grandchildren, Jazmine Boland, Makenna and Blaise Smith and Ava Russel; and sister, Gloria LeComte, Plano, Texas. In his early years, Frank worked at Bethlehem Steel, where he retired. Upon retirement, he started a successful used car dealership in Cresson in the 1970's, which is still in business today. He attended Our Lady of The Alleghenies Parish, Lilly, and belonged to several clubs. Frank enjoyed hunting, cooking, antique and classic cars, and spending time with his family. Family and friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Charles M. Kennedy Funeral Home, Cresson, where vigil for the deceased will be held. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of The Alleghenies Chapel, Lilly, Monsignor John Sasway. Committal, Our Lady of Mount Carmel cemetery, Lilly.
