George W. Kling

Kling, George W., 79, Mount Union, Shirley Twp., passed away November 28, 2019 at home after a brief illness with cancer. Born July 25, 1940, Manor Hill, Huntingdon Co., son of the late James A. and Esther R. (Haulman) Kling. Preceded in death by his loving wife, Judy (McMullen) and daughter, Georgia Reese. Survived by his children, Jeffrey Kling and Laura Scott; step-children, Jennifer Miller and Chelsey Mallon; numerous grandchildren; brothers, Clyde, David and Henry Kling; and sister, Helen Behr. George was a 1958 graduate of Juniata Valley High School. He was a veteran of the US Air Force serving during Vietnam. George retired as a sales manager for County Homes after 25 years. He was a member of the Mount Union VFW Post #5754 and American Legion Post #107. At George’s request all services will be private. Inurnment at Alexandria Presbyterian Cemetery.
