Miller, George Joseph "Mouse", 65, Cresson, went to be with the Lord on Thursday, April 14, 2016, after a five year courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Born January 15, 1951, in Cresson, son of the late George and Pauline Miller. Preceded in death by one sister. Survived by his wife, Cindy (Harris); children: Shawna Gailey (David), Altoona; Shanelle Farabaugh (Eric), Cresson; John Alan, and Aaron, both at home. Also survived by five wonderful grandchildren that he dearly loved: Alex, Mekhi, Jordyn, Madisyn and Mackenzy; and sister, Judith Bulman (Richard), Maryland. George was an avid fisherman, hunter and outdoorsman, with much knowledge of the woods and animals, which he taught to his two sons from the time they could walk and hop into the truck. He taught them how to respect and love the wild. He retired from Johnstown America Corporation, only to land himself a new job of a lifetime. He owned and operated "Pappy Day-Care" for his granddaughters and "Frogga". Mouse will be greatly missed by his brother-in-law Jay, who faithfully visited everyday for their morning gossip session, and by his canine companion "Shorty" and feline companion "Sunkist". At the request of deceased there will be no viewing or visitation. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date for his family at the Cresson Alliance Church. No matter how weak or sick from the chemotherapy, you would see him every Sunday in the church pew. He was very faithful to the church and to the Lord. "Remember Mousie, save me a place up there!" Arrangements by Charles M. Kennedy Funeral Home, Cresson. www.cmkennedyfh.com
