Glenda "Laney" Lewis

Lewis, Glenda (Houp) “Laney”, 51, Huntingdon, went to be with the Lord on Saturday October 2, 2021, at home surrounded by her family. Born January 16, 1970, Huntingdon, daughter of Linda (Lawson) and the late Glenn Houp. Preceded in death by a niece, Christiana. Survived by loving husband, Bruce “Chip” Lewis; children, Melinda Nicholas, and Chandler Lewis; sisters, Tereasa Shepherd and husband, Doug; Sandra McCall and husband, Ken; nieces and nephews, Amanda, Juliana, Stephen, Andrew, Giana, Zoe, Eisele, Ezekiel and Leah; and special friend, Kelly Rodgers. Glenda attended Calvary Christian Academy and was strong in her Christian faith. She later attended Liberty University. Glenda enjoyed crafts and going to craft shows. She was a fantastic cook and an aspiring restaurant owner. Glenda loved to travel. She will be remembered for her heart of gold. Glenda was most happy when spending time with her family and friends. A memorial service will be held on Saturday October 9, 2021, at Calvary Baptist Church, 300 Standing Stone Ave, Huntingdon, PA 16652, at 10:30 a.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help with expenses.
