Glenn W. Shore Jr.

Shore, Glenn W. Jr. “Nick”, 62, of 708 Warm Springs Ave, Huntingdon, formerly of Mount Union, went home to be with his Lord on Sunday, October 13, 2024, at Geisinger Danville. Born October 21, 1961, Baltimore, son of the late Glenn W. Shore Sr. and Susan A. (Rossmann) Shore. Glenn was married to the love of his life, Robin (Smith), on April 14, 1984. They celebrated 40 years of marriage in April 2024. Survived by his wife, Robin; children, Glenn Shore III, Amanda Shore, both of Huntingdon; and Lindsay Shore and companion, Caleb Berkheimer of Mount Union; and a beloved grandson and buddy, Kingston Berkheimer; siblings, Karen Babcock and husband, William; Susan Juarez and husband, Leo; Tim Shore and wife, Shirley; and Kimberly Shore, all of Mount Union; Malissa Shore, Mill Creek; Isaiah Shore and companion, Missie of Eagles Foundry; and Bryan Shore and companion, Nicolette of Newton Hamilton. Preceded in death by sibling, Elizabeth Long; and infant siblings, Amy and Michael Shore. Glenn graduated from Mount Union Area High School in 1979. He worked construction with Paul Payne and at Henkels & McCoy, Peight’s Country Store, and spent over 25 years of his career at Trinity Plastics, Lewistown. Glenn was a member of the Otelia Mennonite Church, Mount Union, where he served as a council member, Sunday School Teacher, and worship leader. He had a strong faith and love for God which he lived out daily and his desire was for all he loved to believe in Jesus Christ and join him in heaven. Glenn enjoyed bluegrass music, singing, hunting, fishing, softball, and watching the PSU Nittany Lions and Philadelphia Eagles and Phillies. Most of all he loved spending time with his family and always looked forward to family cookouts. A celebration of life will be held on Monday October 21, 2024, on what would have been Glenn’s 63rd birthday, at the Otelia Mennonite Church, Mount Union, at 11 a.m., Pastor Ivan Yoder, officiant. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Glenn’s memory directly to the funeral home to assist with expenses.
