Lantz, Sr., Harold L. “Red”, 87, Mount Union, passed away March 2, 2020 surrounded by his family at home. Born August 2, 1932, Mount Union, son of the late Emory and Nellie (Glunt) Lantz. Preceded in death by his loving wife of 66 years, Rosalie J. Lantz; son, Ricky Lee Lantz; brothers, Emory Lantz Jr., and Robert “Lefty” Lantz. Survived by his children, Harold L. “Red” Lantz Jr. and wife Alma, Mill Creek; Dennis “Dietz” Lantz and wife Joyce, Spraggs; Randy Lantz and wife Kathy, McVeytown; Tena Rosensteel and husband Tim, Mount Union; Sue Ann Price and husband Mark, Mount Union; 12 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-grandchild; sisters, Lawanda Shaffer, McConnelstown; Sondra Whitesel, Huntingdon; Bonnie Kay Buccli, North Carolina. Harold served his country in the United States Army and was a Korean War veteran. Harold retired from Letterkenny Army Depot after 35 years of service as a time management supervisor. After retirement he and Rosalie enjoyed selling used cars. He was a lifelong member of the Mount Union American Legion Post #107. Harold enjoyed golfing, hunting, and fishing. He was active in many bowling leagues over the years. Harold loved to spend time with his family and friends. A celebration of life will be held on Monday March 9, 2020 at 1 p.m., at the Mount Union Wesleyan Church, 609 S. Jefferson St. Mount Union, Greg Harven, officiant.
