Harris "Ice" Wilson Jr.

Wilson, Harris Jr. “Ice”, 70, Harrisburg, passed away January 18, 2025. Born June 2, 1954, Huntingdon, son of the late Harris and Rosalee (Martin) Wilson. Survived by sisters, Rose Marie Houck, Harrisburg; and Cynthia Wilson, California; nieces, Kristen Murray, Ashanti and Ayeshia Rose McMickens, and Tiffany Wilson; nephew, Matthew Houck; aunts, Dorothy Winfree and Cora Owens; and a host of loving cousins, co-workers, and friends. Preceded in death by his paternal and maternal grandparents; and siblings, Linda Wilson, Larry Wilson and Woody Wilson. Harris was raised in the Mt. Hope Baptist Church and baptized by the late Rev. Jarrett. Harris was a 1973 graduate of Mount Union Area High School. He was in the high school band and played drums and tuba. Harris was active in Little League Baseball and enjoyed playing tennis. Harris was previously employed at Huntingdon Fiberglass and most recently the Pilot Travel Center. Harris will be most remembered for his infectious laugh and love for his family. Family and friends will be received on Saturday January 25, 2025, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 12 noon, at the funeral home. Interment to follow at the Mount Union Cemetery.
