Becker, Howard “Butch” E., 75, DuBois, passed away Saturday, November 20, 2021 at his son’s house in Fallentimber, surrounded by his loving family. Born May 25, 1946, Brookville, son of the late Walter and Margaret (Plyler) Becker, Sr. Preceded in death by his siblings, Ben Becker and Brenda Jarrell. Survived by his loving wife, Glenda J. (Strouse); children, Robin (Dan) Duttry, Treasure Lake; Valorie (Paul) Floyd, Anchorage, AK; Jeffrey (Amanda) Kohn, Fallentimber; grandchildren, Nigel and Rachel Floyd; Daniel and Rachel Duttry; and Noah, Hayden, Eli and Rowan Kohn; siblings, Peg Denmark; Ginger Donachy; Shirley Terwilliger; Anna Davis, and Walter Becker, Jr.; and numerous nieces and nephews. Butch was a veteran of the US Army serving from 1965-1967 in Korea during the Vietnam War. He worked for Palumbo’s Meat Market and The Courier Express. Butch was a member of the Brookville Fireman’s Club. He enjoyed woodworking, car repair and “tinkering.” Butch was an avid NASCAR fan and a loving foster parent. Most importantly, he loved spending time with his family and was a friend to all who truly knew him.
