Hull Jacob Holtry

Hull Jacob Holtry, 90, of Orbisonia, went to be with his Lord on April 12, 2022, at home, surrounded by family.  He was born on October 14, 1931, in Chambersburg, and was a son of the late Harvey and Sarah (Hendricks) Holtry.  He is survived by his loving wife, Carolyn Joan (Shore) Holtry.  He is both survived by and was preceded in death by numerous siblings, nieces, nephews and cousins.  Mr. Holtry faithfully attended the First Church of the Nazarene in Rockhill.  He worked various jobs throughout his life, but especially loved driving commercial trucks.  Mr. Holtry enjoyed traveling with his wife, going on dinner dates, and collecting souvenirs from their trips.  In his spare time, he also enjoyed working in his yard, keeping his cars spotless, and watching football.  Mr. Holtry was an animal lover and had a special place in his heart for his dogs and cats.  Most of all, he loved to spend quality time with his family and friends.  Family and friends will be received on Tuesday, April 19, 2022, from 9:00 AM until the time of service at 11:00 AM at the Church of the Nazarene, 594 Meadow Street, Orbisonia, PA  17243.  Pastor Ramon Morgan will officiate.  A private interment will follow at the Old Methodist Cemetery in Maddensville.  Arrangements have been entrusted to Heath-Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 61 E Shirley Street, Mount Union.  Condolences may be made at AndersonFamilyFuneralHomes.com.
