Worthy, James Allen, 68, Mount Union, died unexpectedly on April 26, 2023. Born March 12, 1955, Huntingdon, son of Freda Grace (Boozel) and the late Harvey Leo Worthy. Survived by his mother; companion, Diana Waite; children, James Worthy Jr. and wife, Michelle; and Brandy Peterson and husband, Pete; grandchildren, Emily, Bethany, Austin, Jackson, Rance, Tre, Marshawn, Kieara, Morgan, and Hunter; brothers, Ronald Worthy and Mark Worthy; sisters, Sandra Fazenbaker, Donna Lightner, and Jenny Spennati; 6 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Preceded in death by his father; niece, Pam Fazenbaker; nephew, Cole Spennati and family; and sister, Kathy Worthy. James was a former employee at Henekl’s and McCoy. He was a member of the VFW and a Sons of the American Legion Post 107, and the Mill Creek Fire Hall. James enjoyed hunting, fishing, racing, football and tinkering on things. Most of all he loved being with family and friends. Family and friends will be received on Monday May 1, 2023, from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. A celebration of life will be held later at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made directly to the funeral home. Arrangements have been entrusted to Heath-Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 61 E.
