Janet L. Nead

Nead, Janet L. (Wilson), 74, Mapleton Depot, passed away June 7, 2022, at Geisinger Lewistown. Born September 27, 1947, Huntingdon County, daughter of the late Lehman and Iva (Rutter) Wilson. Survived by her loving husband of 57 years, Ralph W. Nead; son, Michael Nead and wife, Debbie (Barrick); siblings, Ronald Wilson, Linda North and Darlene Hockenberry; and many nieces, nephews and their children all whom Janet adored. Preceded in death by brother, Jack Wilson. Janet was a 1965 graduate of Captain Jack High School. She retired from Fiberglass and went on to be a homemaker. Janet loved taking motorcycle rides with her husband and baking. Most of all she loved to spend time with her family and friends and loved beyond measure. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother and friend. Friends and family will be received on Friday June 10, 2022, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 12 noon, Mr. Rowland Nead, officiant. Interment to follow at Mt. Nebo Cemetery.
