Jean Lukens

Lukens, Marjorie Jean (Love), 93, Belleville, passed away January 30, 2025, at Valley View Retirement Community, Belleville. Born August 17, 1932, Orbisonia, daughter of the late Clair M. and Marjorie Mae (Walls) Love. Preceded in death by her loving husband, Gerald D. Lukens Jr., whom she married on Valentines Day 1953. Also preceded by siblings, Anne Smith, James Love, and Frank “Doodle” Love. Survived by her sons, Frank G. Lukens and wife, Deborah; and James B. Lukens and wife, Ellen; 2 grandchildren, Annaleise and Elijah Lukens; and sister Joan Renaldi; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Lukens was of the Methodist faith. She graduated from Mount Union High School in 1949. After high school she attended Central Penn for secretarial studies. She was a member of the Mount Union Order of the Eastern Star. Mrs. Lukens enjoyed bowling, golfing, cooking and crocheting. Family and friends will be received on Friday February 7, 2025, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 12 noon, at the funeral home, Joseph Barrett, officiant.
