Wyland, Jeffrey A., 32, Loretto, went home to be with the Lord, March 11, 2018 at UPMC Altoona. Born April 14, 1985, Johnstown, son of Joseph M. Wyland, Sr. and Sharon C. (Craine) Hutchinson. Preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Gerald Wyland; uncles, Eric and Brian Buck; and cousin, Gregory Lego. Survived by his parents, step-mother, Annette Wyland; step-father, Charles Hutchinson; brothers, Joseph Jr. and Justin Wyland; sister, Emma Wyland; paternal grandmother, Kathy Wyland; maternal grandparents, Jacob and Barbara Buck; step-brothers, Jacob and Stephen Dean, Benjamin and Daniel Hutchinson; step-sister, Alyssa Dean; nieces and nephews; numerous aunts and uncles, and countless cousins. Jeff was a US Air Force veteran and was employed as an IT Technician, working for the US Air Force, Lockheed Martin, PPG, and also did his own independent contract work. Jeff was a member of the Loretto American Legion Post 748. He enjoyed travelling all over the world, but his biggest passion was helping others. Jeff had a big heart and would do anything for anyone who needed his help. Friends will be received March 16, from 4-8 p.m. at the Kennedy-Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Cresson. Funeral mass will be celebrated March 17 at 10 a.m., Basilica of St. Michael the Archangel, Loretto, Very Rev. Fr. John D. Byrnes, celebrant. Military honors will be conducted after mass by the Loretto & Cresson American Legions, Sankertown VFW, and other local veteran organizations. In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1004 N Juniata St, Hollidaysburg, PA 16648, or the American Diabetes Association, Two Chatham Center, Suite 1520, 112 Washington Place, Pittsburgh, PA 15219, in Jeff’s memory.
