Jimmy Victor Allen

Allen, Jimmy Victor, 78, Mount Union, passed away February 15, 2021 at UPMC Presbyterian, Pittsburgh. Born December 26, 1942, Mount Union, son of the late George and Mary (Thomas) Allen. Preceded in death by his loving wife, Carol (Funderburk) Allen; siblings, Robert Allen, Oakley and Mary Thomas. Survived by his children, Dwayne Allen, FL; Victoria Allen, Gettysburg; stepchildren, Felicia and Yanntia Garner, both of Philadelphia; siblings, James Allen, Philadelphia; Annie Rogers, Mount Union; and Milton Allen; brothers-in-law, Chuck Funderburk and Lawrence Funderburk, both of Philadelphia; sister-in-law, Margaret Bates, Philadelphia; and many loving grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Jimmy was a 1962 graduate of Captain Jack High School. He worked as a cook in Philadelphia before retiring. Jimmy moved back to Mount Union to live with his sister and niece. He enjoyed all sports and spending time with his family. At Jimmy’s request, there will be no services. Arrangements have been entrusted to Heath-Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 61 E.
