John Frank Miller, Sr.

Miller, John Frank Sr., 75, Neelyton, passed away December 31, 2019 at UPMC Altoona. Born August 9, 1944, Rockhill Furnace, son of Frank and Lillie (Colyer) Miller. Preceded in death his father; and siblings, Michael Miller and Susan Brant. Survived by his mother, Shade Gap; wife, Betty (Holden), whom he married on March 1, 1965 in Winchester, VA; son, John Miller, Jr. and wife, Leslie, Blairs Mills; granddaughter, Delaine Paige Miller, Blairs Mills; siblings, William Miller, Shade Gap; and Maxine Porcelli, Chambersburg. John was a veteran of the U.S. Army. He retired from Letterkenny Army Depot in January of 1994 and also worked as an iron worker in his early years. John was a member of the Dry Run American Legion Post #232. He enjoyed Stock car racing and socializing with his friends. At John’s request, there will be no viewing or service.
