Joyce E. Reck

Reck, Joyce “Jo”, 76, died Friday November 4, 2022, at Penn Highlands Huntingdon. Born September 12, 1946, Mount Union, daughter of the late John and Elsie (Snyder) Reck. Survived by sister, Linda, Mount Union; brother, Dave Reck and wife, Pat, Mount Union; niece Cheryl Johns and husband, Rob, Huntingdon; nephew, Jon Reck and wife, Deanna, York; sister-in-law, Marian Reck, Huntingdon; great niece, Ashley Winegardner and husband, Jimmy and their children, Gavin and Colin; great nephew, Tyler Johns and wife, Jamie and their children, Matthew and Hannah. Preceded in death by brother, Bill. Joyce was a member of the Mount Union Presbyterian Church. She was a graduate of Captain Jack High School Class of 1964. Joyce worked several years at Robin Footwear and retired on disability in 1995 from U.S. Sports. Jo loved her Pittsburgh Steelers and couldn’t wait to go to Rob and Cheryl’s Steelers Party. Family and friends will be received on Saturday December 3, 2022, from 9 a.m. until the time of a memorial service at 11 a.m., at the funeral home, Rev. Beverly Skopic and Rev. Elaine Africa, co-officiants. A private inurnment will take place at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the “Furnace Fund” Mount Union Presbyterian Church, 2 E. Shirley Street Mount Union, PA 17066.
