Kathleen J. Zinza

Zinza, Kathleen J., 71, Portage, formerly of Burnside, passed away peacefully on August 20, 2024, at her home. Born October 22, 1952, Indiana, PA., daughter of the late John B. Sr. and Audrey J. (Cunningham) Shimko. Preceded in death by her loving husband David Zinza; and brother, Ron Shimko. Survived by her daughter, Jennifer Wilkinson, Wilmore; son, Matthew Zinza, New Bethlehem; grandchildren, Brady and Caylie Wilkinson, Wilmore; brother, John Shimko Jr.; and a son-in-law, Randy Wilkinson, Wilmore. Kathleen enjoyed spending her free time playing computer games, gambling, and gardening. Kathleen was known for being organized. She also had a special place in her heart for her beloved dog, Ty, and her 2 cats, Mikey and Nicky. Most of all, Kathleen enjoyed spending time with her family and being around her grandchildren. The family would also like to thank her special caregivers, Michelle Miller, Kirsten Hooven, Kristen George, and Melissa Faulkner, for going above and beyond for the care they gave to Kathleen. Friends and family will be received Saturday, August 24, 2024, from 2-5 p.m. with time of service at 3 p.m., Anderson Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, Cresson, Fr. Leo Arnone celebrant.
