Kathy E. Wakefield

Wakefield, Kathy E., 68, Harrisburg, formerly of Mount Union, passed away October 29, 2020 at Penn Highlands Huntingdon. Born December 26, 1951, Huntingdon, daughter of the late Charles A. and Anna E. (Conway) Wakefield. Preceded in death by siblings, Russell Wakefield, Betty Woods, Phyllis Daros, and Richard Wakefield. Survived by sisters, Patricia Reck and husband, Dave, Mount Union; Delores Long, Huntingdon; Dora McKinney, Cassville; and Terry Thompson, Erie. Kathy was employed with Highmark Blue Cross Blue Shield for over 35 years. Kathy loved getting together with family for gatherings. She enjoyed playing cards, doing word searches, and watching her gameshows on TV. Kathy also liked going to BINGO with her sisters. She was fond of her many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews—and loved to learn of any new additions to the family.
