Keilhofer, Kurt William, 66, Mapleton, passed away on Tuesday December 6, 2022, in the line of duty in Huntingdon County. Born August 21, 1956, Pittsburgh, son of the late Richard and Bernadine (Fulton) Keilhofer. Survived by his loving wife, Mary Kathryn (Kyler) Keilhofer; daughters, Crystal Isenberg and wife, Tiffany; Constance Keilhofer; and Amanda Duck and husband, Michael; 15 grandchildren, Colton and wife, Ashley; Mason, Hayden, Brandon, Shon and wife, Gabrielle; Nathan, Ashtyn, Aaliyah, Trystan, Katelyn, Sara, Marissa, Cora, Christopher and Natalie; 1 greatgrandchild, Aria; brother, Mark Keilhofer. Preceded in death by daughter, Fresca Ann White. Kurt graduated from Mount Lebanon High School Class of 1974. After high school, he attended Penn State University where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Mechanization in 1978. Kurt was the plant manager, human resource manager and warehouse supervisor of Knouse Foods for their Chambersburg, Peach Glenn, and Paw Paw Michigan locations from 1982 to 1987. He was the operations and distribution manager for National Fruit Products in Winchester from 1987 to 1992. Kurt then worked as a van operator for Schroeder Services with United Van Lines from 1992 to 2021 when he retired. Kurt was a member and volunteer with the Mapleton Fire Department. He was a member of the Mapleton Borough Council. In his free time, he was a licensed ham radio operator. Kurt enjoyed motorcycles, camping and being outdoors, tinkering with anything mechanical, birdwatching, collecting oddities, fishing, gardening, and living life to the fullest. As a child Kurt was a member of the bell choir at church and was fond of those memories. Most of all Kurt loved to spend time with his family and was a proud, husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. Family and friends will be received on Friday December 9, 2022, from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m. at the funeral home, with a fireman’s service to begin at 7 p.m. and again on Saturday December 10, 2022, from 10 a.m. until the time of a funeral service at 11 a.m., at the funeral home. Interment to follow at the Mapleton IOOF Cemetery. Arrangements have been entrusted to Heath-Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 61 E.
