Rinker, Lewis J., 92, Mount Union, passed away May 15, 2021, at Embassy at Woodland Park. Born August 21, 1928, Mount Union, son of the late Doran and Isabel (Ewing) Rinker. Survived by his loving wife, Helen M. (Pollock) Rinker. Also surviving are daughters, Johanna Rinker, Mount Union; and Judy Villarreal and husband, Mark, Texas; 2 grandsons, David Villarreal Jr., and Jesse Villarreal; 2 great grandchildren, Gabriel, and Arianna. Preceded in death by sisters, Lorma Snyder and Elva Henry. Lewis served his country in the United States Air Force and retired after 20 years. After retiring from the military, he worked as Huntingdon County Sewage Enforcement Officer for a number of years and with D&B Protection and the Huntingdon Country Club Pro Shop. He enjoyed golfing. Lewis was a member of the American Legion Simpson Hunt Post #107. Most importantly he loved to spend time with his family and friends. Friends and family will be received on Wednesday May 19, 2021 from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 12 noon, at the funeral home, Joseph Barrett, officiant. Interment to follow at Haven Rest Memorial Park, Shirleyburg. Arrangements have been entrusted to Heath-Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 61 E.
