Linda Lee Miller

Miller, Linda Lee, 79, Mount Union, passed away Saturday, March 26, 2022, at home, following an extended illness. Born August 10, 1942, Allenport, daughter of the late Charles and Virginia (Ritchey) McCartney. Survived by her loving husband, Wendell A. Miller Sr.; her children, Wendell A. Miller Jr.; Wendy S. Beatty and husband Kevin; and Tanya Kyle and husband Philip; 7 grandchildren, Payden, Sarah, Dalton, Codey, Casey, Philip, and Madison; 6 great-grandchildren, Teagan, Sparrow, Lyrik, Ian, Jace, and Rory; and four brothers, Charles, Dennis, Lewis, and Larry McCartney. Linda was preceded in death by her grandson, Corey. She worked in the dietary department of J.C. Blair Memorial Hospital for over 30 years and enjoyed gardening, traveling, fishing, cooking, sitting on her deck with friends, shopping, country music, her precious Pomeranian dog Jack, and especially spending time with her family and grandchildren. Family and friends will be received from 11 a.m. until the 1 p.m. funeral service Friday, April 1, 2022 at the Heath-Anderson Funeral Home and Cremation Services, 61 E. Shirley St., Mount Union, with Chaplin Timothy Guyer officiating. Interment will follow in Haven Rest Memorial Park Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Huntingdon County Humane Society, 11371 School House Hollow Rd., Huntingdon, PA 16652 or to Kindred Hospice, 1701 12th Ave., Building D, Altoona, PA 16601. Arrangements have been entrusted to Heath-Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 61 E.
