Linda A. Wyland

Wyland, Linda A. (Adams), 74, Cresson, passed away Wednesday, November 10, 2021 at her home. Born August 8, 1947, Altoona, daughter of the late Howard R. and Mary M. (Phelps) Adams. Preceded in death by her loving husband, Gerald Wyland, Sr.; and infant siblings, Robert and Mary. Survived by her children, Gerald Jr. (Tracy), Altoona; Brent (Michele), Virginia Beach; JoeAnna, Altoona; and Robert (Stephanie), Cresson, 13 grandchildren; 8 great-grandchildren; siblings, David Scott Adams (Dot); and Virginia Lee King (Tony), all of South Carolina; and many loving nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Linda was an EMT/Secretary for Cambria Alliance EMS and retired after 26 years of service. A member of St. Aloysius Church where she sang in the choir and was a member of the Legion of Mary. She was also involved with the Women’s Bowling League and enjoyed shooting trap in Cresson and Portage. Most importantly she loved her trips to Disney World and spending time with her family. A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, November 28, 2021 at a location to be determined. Family requests memorial contributions be made to the Make-A-Wish Foundation or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in her name.
