Chappell, Marcus R., 78, McConnellstown, passed away Saturday April 12, 2025, at home. Born July 6, 1947, Evanssville Indiana, son of the late James and Magdalene (Albrey) Chappell. Survived by his loving wife, Susan L. (Smith) Chappell; children, Marcus Randale Chappell and wife, Shannon; and James Chappell and wife, Leslie; stepchildren, Wayne M. McManus and companion, Lynne; and Carrie A. Cammel and husband, Paul; 11 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and a sister, Janet Lee. Marcus graduated from Evansville High School in Indiana. He honorably served his country in the United States Army and the United States Air Force. Marcus graduated from Indiana State University with a bachelor’s degree in psychology. Marcus was a member of the Huntingdon VFW and a lifetime member of the Evansville VFW. He enjoyed woodworking and collecting items. A celebration of life will be held later at the convenience of the family. Arrangements have been entrusted to Heath-Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 61 E.
