April 8, 1922 - May 17, 2015 Mary E. "Nancy" Cole, 93, Cresson, died Sunday at Rebekah Manor, Ebensburg. She was born in Hollidaysburg, daughter of the late William and Mary (Webb) Miller. Surviving are two daughters: Suzy Lomire (Robert) of Pittsburgh and Becky Weyandt (Les) of Ebensburg; a daughter-in-law, Barbara (Laich) Cole of Altoona; seven grandchildren: Amanda Cole, Henry Cole IV (Toni), Matthew, Robert and Mariah Lomire, and Benjamin and Blake Weyandt; a great-grandson, Hudson Cole; and five step-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry S. Cole Jr.; two sons: Henry S. III and Philip D.; and two brothers: Harry "Pat" and William. Nancy retired as a driver with Cambria County Transit Authority after 15 years of service, and prior to that she had been employed at James Drug Store, Cresson. She was a member of Cresson Presbyterian Church and Cresson Women's Club and a member and past matron of the Order of the Eastern Star. She loved to play bingo. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday, May 20, 2015, at Charles M. Kennedy Funeral Home, Cresson. A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday, May 21, 2015, at Cresson Presbyterian Church, Pastor David McCabe officiating. Interment will be at St. Francis Xavier Cemetery. cmkennedyfh.com
