Mary Anne Kumpf

Kumpf, Mary Anne, 86, of 109 Ferguson Valley Road, Mount Union, passed away on Tuesday January 2, 2023, at Embassy at Woodland Park. Born July 4, 1936, Altoona, daughter of the late William and Mildred (Beahm) Berndt. Preceded in deathy by her loving husband, Leo Kumpf; and grandson, Alan Kumpf. Survived by children, Melody Komir and husband, Michael, Mount Union; Guy Kumpf and wife Nancy, Mount Union; Mark Kumpf and wife, Audrey, Mount Union; and Mary Jo Longmore and husband, Mike of Stafford VA; grandchildren, Christopher Komir, Michele Gavazzi, Mariah Longmore, Allison Longmore, Briana Kumpf, Max Wiser, Miranda Strauser, and Brandi Wiser. Mrs. Kumpf was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Roman Catholic Church in Mount Union. She sang in the choir and was a member of the Festival Chorus. Mrs. Kumpf worked at Appleby’s Drug Store in Mount Union as well as the American Cancer Society in Huntingdon and Lewistown. She was extremely proud of her grandchildren and loved to spend time with family and friends. Friends and family will be received on Monday January 9^th for a visitation from 10 a.m. until the time of a memorial mass at 11 a.m. at St. Catherine of Siena, 203 W Market St, Mt Union, PA 17066, Fr. Joseph Fleming, officiant. Inurnment will be at St. Catherine Cemetery, Shirleysburg. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made in Mrs. Kumpf's honor to the American Cancer Society, P.O.
