Mary Olive Sarneski

Sarneski, Mary Olive, 95, resident of the Lutheran Home at Hollidaysburg, formerly of Cresson, passed away July 18, 2021. Born June 10, 1926, Cresson, daughter of the late Charles and Alfreda (Drennan) Berkheimer. Preceded in death by her husband, Roy P. Sarneski; brothers, Harold, Victor, and Merle Berkheimer; sisters, Dorothy Wagner and Irene Johnson; and special friend, Charles Hostetler. Survived by her daughters, Nancy Demangone, Duncansville; Judy Morris and husband Robert; Brenda McCloskey and husband James, all of Cresson; and Kathy Digruilles and husband David, Sykesville, MD; 8 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren. Mary was the last member of her immediate family. She was a member of the Cresson United Methodist Church and the Cresson Senior Center. Mary loved to walk, read and go shopping. She also enjoyed watching WWE wrestling. Friends and family will be received Wednesday, July 21, 2021 from 6-8 p.m., Anderson Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Thursday, July 22, 2021 at 11 a.m., Rev. Ralph Hamer officiant. Committal at Alto-Reste Park Cemetery.
