Michael D. Boozel

Boozel, Michael D., 60, Three Springs, passed away Saturday October 14, 2023, as the result of a motorcycle accident.  Born November 17, 1962, Huntingdon, son of Robert J. and Rachel P. (Aurand) Boozel. Michael was preceded in death by his wife, Tina M. (Parks), his granddaughter, Ruthie Boozel, and by his brother, Scott and sister Deborah Spencer.  Surviving are his parents, his children, Michael A. Boozel Sr. and Jessica Appleby of Three Springs, Anthony S. Boozel and wife, Sara of Shirleysburg, Tanisha D. Frace, husband Rodney of Shirleysburg, 9 grandchildren, Ethan, Andrew, Mackenzie, Michael Jr., Olivia, Nevaeha, Kaytlin, Rodney III, and Julieann.  Michael is also survived by 2 stepdaughters, Lisa Cornelius, and Sara Boozel, 4 sisters, Cindy Hobbs of Huntingdon, Bobbie Boozel companion Corky of Bellwood, Lori Smith husband Scott of Wrangletown, and Kelly Whitsel of Shade Gap, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and by his dog Gizmo. He was a 1982 graduate of Mount Union High School, employed at Bonney Forge, and was a member of both the Blue Juniata Memorial VFW Post 5754 and the Madden – Wennick American Legion Post 518. Michael loved riding motorcycles, kayaking, and spending time with family and friends. Family and friends will be received on Friday October 20, 2023, from 6p.m. until 8 p.m. and on Saturday October 21, 2023, from 10a.m. until the 11 a.m. funeral service at the funeral home with Pastor Ed Seeley, officiant. Interment will follow in Haven Rest Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made directly to the funeral home.
