Crum, Monica (Zakrzwski), 52, McKees Rocks, passed away unexpectedly, July 6, 2015, at the home of her mother in Cresson. Born May 2, 1963, in Cresson, daughter of Mary Ann (Novotny) Zakrzwski and the late Robert Zakrzwski Sr. Survived by mother, Cresson; husband of 19 years, Theodore Crum, and dogs, Hasty and Ciara; siblings: Robert Jr. (Deborah); Therese; Charles (Melinda); Raymond (Diana); James (Amy); David (Janet); Mary Bhuyian (Al-Amin); and Richard; mother-in-law, Norma Heitzlein; sister-in-law, Brenda Crum; and numerous nieces and nephews. Monica had attended St. Francis University, Loretto, and was a former employee of Cam-Tram, Johnstown. Member of St. Aloysius Catholic Church, Cresson, and an auxiliary member of the Legion of Mary. Friends will be received from 2 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Charles M. Kennedy Funeral Home, Cresson, where Legion of Mary will recite the rosary at 3 p.m. Vigil for the deceased will be held Thursday evening. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Aloysius Church, Very Rev. Father John D. Byrnes. Committal, church cemetery.
