Gibson, Norma Joanne (Clark), 84, Mount Union, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday, May 14, 2024, at Westminster Wood, Huntingdon, PA. Born May 28, 1939, Shirleysburg, daughter of the late Norman E. and Alma E. (Shields) Clark. Survived by her loving husband of 60 years, John D. Gibson Sr., children, Cheryl Beatty, Mount Union; Deborah Walters and husband, Corey, Mount Union; John D. Gibson Jr. “JD” and his companion, Christine Hamilton, Mount Union; Sherri Atherton, Mount Union; 7 grandchildren, Aaron, Courtney, Kayla, Cole, Kassidy, Thomas “TJ”, Kendra, 13 great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter, siblings, Bernice Geroge “Bernie”, Norman E. Clark Jr., Bertha Whitsel “Sis”, and several nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by daughter, Kimberly S. Peterson, sisters, Evelyn Holden, Betty Lemasters, and Edith Garlock. Norma enjoyed singing along with her husband with the Jack’s Mountain Boys. She was involved with many fundraisers at the Stone Creek Valley Lions Club and enjoyed attending sporting events for her children and her grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held at 6 p.m. on Friday, May 24, 2024., at the Eternal Life Tabernacle (Agape Farm) 17512 Rapture Street Shirleysburg, PA 17260 Pastor Phil May officiant. In Lieu of flowers donations may be made in honor of Norma to the St Jude’s Childrens Hospital. Arrangements have been entrusted to Heath-Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 61 E.
