Patricia Lynn Frank

It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved Patricia Lynn Frank, who went home to her eternal resting place on Friday, October 11, 2024 at the age of 61. Born July 17, 1963, Altoona, daughter of Robert & Thelma (Wright) Biter. Married to the love of her life, Patrick Frank, for 42 years, Patty’s unwavering devotion to her family was the cornerstone of everything she did. She leaves behind three cherished children, Heather Crusinberry (Matthew), Keith Frank (Kate), and Nicholas Frank, and one precious grandchild, Grayson Crusinberry, with who she was completely over the moon in love with. Every member of her family is a testament to the love she poured into every day of her life.

Patty was the kind of person who made the world a better place simply by being in it. Her warmth was felt by all who had the privilege of knowing her, and her laughter lit up every room she walked into. She had a way of making everyone feel like family, and to be loved by Patty was to be loved unconditionally. She welcomed everyone with a big smile and a warm hug, and she never left without saying, “I love you!”

She shared a bond with her three sisters, Reine Bianconi, Lori Ruzzi, and Wendy Capelli, who were her lifelong companions, and sources of endless laughter. Together, they created memories that will live on forever in their hearts and of those who loved her. One of the most special bonds Patty shared was with her father, Robert Biter, who adored his girl beyond measure. Her absence leaves a profound void in his heart, but the love they shared will forever endure, blossoming like the flowers she so lovingly tended around his house.

A lover of all things green and blooming, Patty had a natural gift for making things grow. Her green thumb was most evident in her flower beds and those she lovingly tended to at her father’s house, ensuring every bloom thrived under her care. Her love for flowers was a reflection of her own soul—she nurtured everything and everyone around her, helping them grow with her gentle touch and warm heart. She loved watching her hummingbirds flutter around her deck and found joy in spotting eagles as they flew across the river. Her love of the outdoors was evident in her walks in the woods, floating down the river, and her and Pat finding new fun places to go fishing.

Patty also had an undeniable passion for capturing life’s moments through the lens of a camera, never missing the chance to freeze time with a snapshot of family gatherings, celebrations, and those little moments in between that she knew were truly the big ones. Her love for country music provided the soundtrack to her life, filling her home with melodies of joy and heartache that mirrored her own journey. Patty treasured her bowling ladies and looked forward to each Wednesday they got together. They helped her find a hobby in bowling, but more importantly she got to share joyful moments and laugh with each of them.

Family was everything to Patty. Her happiest moments were spent surrounded by the people she loved most, whether it was a casual family dinner or a holiday celebration. Her home was always open, and her heart was even more so.

Patty’s kindness, her fierce love, and her radiant spirit will forever be remembered by those she leaves behind. She is survived by her father, Robert Biter, husband, Patrick Frank, children, Heather Crusinberry (Matthew), Keith Frank (Kate), Nicholas Frank, her sisters Reine Bianconi (John), Lori Ruzzi (Darrell), Wendy Capelli (Jim), her grandson, Grayson Crusinberry, her mother and father-in-law, James and Judith Frank, her brothers and sisters in law, David Frank (Kris), Kelly Reynolds(Darrell), Douglas Frank (Karri), Kerry Stanfield (John), and many nieces and nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles. Though she is no longer with us, the legacy of her love remains etched in our hearts. She will be deeply missed, but never forgotten. Patty was preceded in death by her mother, Thelma Biter, and her best friend Dana Brothers, who we know were waiting with open arms to welcome her home.

Rest in peace, sweet Patty. You have left this world far too soon, but you live on in every life you touched, in every flower you nurtured, and in the music of our memories.
