Stewart, Patricia Jane (Staubs), 89, died unexpectedly Sunday, December 25, 2022, at her home at 102 Dale Road, Mount Union. Born February 2, 1933, Germany Valley, daughter of the late Clarence R. “Jack” and Mary E. (Mentzer) Staubs. Survived by her loving husband, Frederick G. “Ted” Stewart whom she was united in marriage to on November 30, 1957. Also surviving are children, Ted B. Stewart, Mount Union; Kelly P. McClain, Huntingdon; grandchildren, Kirsten Stewart, California; Travis Stewart; Zach Flasher and wife, Ashlyn; and great granddaughters, Saida and Erian Flasher, all of Mount Union; siblings, Mary L. Lancaster and husband, George Dale, State Line; Audrey J. Smith, Mount Union; Richard E. Staubs, Las Vegas; and many nieces, nephews and extended family who will sorely miss her. Preceded in death by siblings, Lila I. Bradshaw and husband, Terry; Judith A. Beatty and Clarence R. Staubs Jr. A beloved and devote wife, mother, family member and friend, Pat was loved and admired by many for her generous spirit and the gift of her presence. A talented artist, Pat was an active and longtime member of the Mount Union Art Guild and the First United Methodist Church, Mount Union. A licensed real estate agent, Pat was employed for many years by Keystone Real Estate/James Cohenour, for whom she also served as secretary, bookkeeper and accountant. Prior she had worked many years as a secretary for K.L. Lamberson, Mount Union. She entered the work world as a communications specialist for Bell Telephone Company in Lancaster following graduating from Mount Union Area High School in 1951. An avid reader, Pat also found joy in her artwork, games and spending time with friends, family and community events. At the request of the deceased there will be no public viewing or visitation. Interment will be at the Germany Valley Church of the Brethren Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Mount Union Art Guild. Arrangements have been entrusted to Heath-Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 61 E.
