Paul L. Kern

Kern, Paul L., 75, Mount Union, passed away Sunday January 7, 2024, at the Milton S. Hershey Medical Center, Hershey. Born May 13, 1948, Petersburg, son of the late Benjamin and Alice (Brenneman) Kern. Survived by his loving wife, Cynthia S. (Senn) Kern; children, Paul S. Kern and wife, Lara; and Kathy Cummins and husband, Robert; 3 grandchildren, Miranda Kern, Connor Cummins and Damian Ausband; and a great granddaughter, Anya Coy; siblings, Bill Kern, Randy Kern, Betty Lou Price, Sandy Wilson, Jenny Gummo, and Carol Kern. Preceded in death by granddaughters, Amanda Lee and Alecia May; siblings, David, Ben, Bud, Martha, Sharon and Bobby. Paul was a 1968 graduate of Juniata Valley High School. He was a life member of the Mount Union Volunteer Fire Department and retired after serving from 1969 to 1993. Paul loved hunting, fishing and attending flea markets and sales in search of collectibles. A celebration of life will be held later at the convenience of the family.
