Paula Elaine Harman

Harman, Paula Elaine (Briner), 83, Mount Union, passed away Wednesday November 8, 2023, at Embassy Woodland Park, Orbisonia. Born August 28, 1940, Burnham, daughter of the late Amos and Mary Pauline (Miller) Briner. Survived by her loving husband, George Jackson “Jack” Harman Jr. Also survived by children, Barron Herrington and wife Lori, Sharpsburg MD; George Jeffrey Harman and significant other Angela Ward, Altoona; Mike Harman and wife Noreen, Huntingdon; and Dawn Shields and husband Joe, Mount Union; 6 grandchildren, Caleb Herrington, Kelsey Nicole Harman, Darin Harman, Alison Elaine Harman, Kameryn Shields and Karsyn Shields; siblings, David Miller and wife Kathy; Sharon Hughes, and Susan Cato; and a special cousin, Jean Yetter. Mrs. Harman was a 1958 graduate of Chief Logan High School. She was a member of the Allenport United Methodist Church where she played the piano and organ for many years. Mrs. Harman was a member and Past Worthy Matron of the Pennsylvania Order of the Eastern Star, Mount Union Chapter #280. She was a past member of the Mount Union Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary. She enjoyed reading, crafts, making Christmas ornaments and different macramé projects. Family and friends will be received on Monday November 13, 2023, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. and again on Tuesday November 14, 2023, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m., at the funeral home, Joseph Barrett, officiant. Interment to follow at Haven Rest Memorial Park, Shirleysburg. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Allenport United Methodist Church, 14089 Second Street, Mount Union, PA, United States, Pennsylvania.
