Phyllis Jane Covert

Covert, Phyllis Jane (Wible), 79, Three Springs, went to her heavenly home January 27, 2022, at the Fulton County Medical Center, McConnellsburg. Born November 10, 1942, Three Springs, daughter of the late Chester A. and Edna M. (Long) Wible. Survived by spouse, Kirk Danfelt; children, Melinda Miller and husband, Steve; Karen Nemes and husband, Richard; Guy V. Covert Jr. and wife, Morgan; Aaron W. Covert and wife, Stephanie; 10 grandchildren, Natalie Talbot, who was reared by Phyllis; Devin Miller, Morgan Miller, Madelin Nemes, Alex Nemes, Makenna Covert, Pearse Covert, and twins, Ethan and Owen Covert; 5 great grandchildren, Lily, Sophia, Caden, Alayna, Cali and Adrianna. Preceded in death by husband and World War II Air Force Veteran, Guy V. Covert Sr; grandsons, David Gracey and Michael Nemes; great grandson, Blake Johnson; and siblings, Lois Snyder, Clair Wible, and Joann Wain. Phyllis was an active member of the First Baptist Church of Three Springs. She was a former member of the Three Springs Historical Society. Phyllis was a faithful woman who loved the Lord. Phyllis enjoyed gardening, delicious meals, dancing, Christian music, cooking, and thrift store shopping. Most of all Phyllis enjoyed spending time with her family—especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. A funeral service will be held on Saturday February 5, 2022, at 1 p.m., at the First Baptist Church of Three Springs, 8655 Hudson St, Three Springs, PA 17264, Pastor Todd Grice, officiant. Interment to follow at Old School Baptist Cemetery, Three Springs. Arrangements have been entrusted to Heath-Anderson Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 61 E.
