Robert "Peck" E. Prough

Prough, Robert E. “Peck”, 82, Shirleysburg, passed away Sunday August 29, 2021, at Embassy at Woodland Park. Born May 8, 1939, son of the late Ira M. and Sarah M. (Diven) Prough. Survived by his loving wife, Martha A. (Cramer) Prough whom he married September 14, 1976. Also surviving are children, Brent R. Prough, Jeffrey S. Prough, Rhonda L. Cramer and Kristen C. Cramer. Preceded in death by sister, Shirley (Prough) Davenport. Robert was a 1957 graduate of Captain Jack High School. He honorably served his country in the United States Marine Corps from 1958 to 1963. Robert was a lifetime member of the National Rifle Association and loved hunting and fishing. He also enjoyed cheering on the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Penn State Nittany Lions. Friends and family will be received on Wednesday September 1, 2021, from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the funeral home and again on Thursday, September 2, 2021, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Huntingdon County Humane Society, 11371 School House Hollow Rd, Huntingdon, PA 16652.
