Robert M. Semple

Semple, Robert M., 71, Mount Union, died January 8, 2022, at Geisinger Danville. Born September 2, 1950, Huntingdon County, son of the late Edward and Dorothy (Bair) Semple. Survived by his loving wife, Mary J. (Christoff) Semple; son, James “Chico” Chaney and wife, Brandy; 3 grandchildren, Justin, Allyssa and Jerrick Chaney; siblings, Sandra Brumbaugh and husband, Ronald; Ronald Semple and wife, Sharon; Ken Semple and wife, Lonya; Terry Semple and wife, Carol; Tim Semple and wife, Dorothy; Tom Semple; Gloria Madilia; Penny Myers and husband, Chris; Pat Banks and husband, Robert. Preceded in death by brother, James Semple. Bob enjoyed being outdoors hunting and fishing. He was a huge Pittsburgh Steelers fan. Bob loved his old Ford Mustang and attending dirt track races. He had a soft spot for his dog, Ekow. Most of all Bob loved to spend time with his family and friends—especially his grandchildren which he cherished. Family and friends will be received on Friday January 14, 2022, from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m., at the funeral home, Pastor Brian Myfelt, officiant.
